Everything you need to know about the Joyride Club & Alliance.
Joyride MTB is all about creating better experiences on mountain bikes. We operate across three main areas — Joyride Coaching, Joyride Racing and the Joyride Club — offering everything from professional MTB coaching and events to racing, community rides, member benefits and more.
We cater for riders of a wide range of ages, from young juniors through to adults. Age requirements vary between our coaching programs, races and events, so make sure you check the specific program or event before booking.
It depends on the program! We cater for everyone from riders developing their fundamental skills through to experienced racers looking to improve their performance. Each program or event will outline the recommended skill level, and if you're unsure, just get in touch with us.
Joyride is based in Victoria, Australia, with coaching, races, shuttle days and other events held at a range of mountain bike destinations across the state. Check the individual event or program page for the exact location.
The Joyride Club is our MTB membership designed to help riders get more out of riding with Joyride. Members get access to a range of benefits including discounts, free shuttle days, early race entry, giveaways, race support and plenty more.
No! You don't need to be a Joyride Club member to ride with us. Most Joyride coaching programs and racing events are open to everyone. Club membership simply gives you access to additional benefits, discounts and opportunities throughout the year.
Joyride Club members receive a range of benefits including early access to race entries, discounts on Joyride coaching, free shuttle days, partner discounts, giveaways, race support and access to exclusive member content and opportunities.
Head to the Coaching section of our website and choose the program or private coaching option that suits you. From there, you'll be able to see the relevant information and booking options. If you're not sure which session is right for you, get in touch and we'll point you in the right direction.
That depends on age, riding ability and what you're looking to get out of the session. We offer a range of coaching options from private sessions through to group programs and race-focused coaching. If you're unsure, contact us with a little information about the rider and we'll recommend the best option.
Race entries are released online before each event. Head to the Racing section of our website, select your event and follow the entry link. We recommend entering early, as some Joyride events can reach capacity before entries officially close.
Most sanctioned Joyride races require riders to hold an appropriate AusCycling race licence. The exact licence requirements can vary depending on the event, so please check the event information before entering. If you're unsure which licence you need, feel free to contact us.
You'll need a suitable, well-maintained mountain bike and appropriate safety equipment for the activity you're participating in. Equipment requirements can vary between coaching sessions, shuttle days and races, so always check the information provided for your specific event or program.
Mountain biking is an outdoor sport, so we generally continue riding in a range of conditions. However, rider safety and protecting the trails always come first. If severe weather or trail conditions require us to postpone, relocate or cancel an event, we'll communicate any changes with participants as early as possible.
Become a part of the Joyride MTB family and gain exclusive early access to events, discounts, and exciting giveaways. Don't miss out on the chance to elevate your mountain biking experience!
