Welcome to Round 2

Barjarg is liklley to become an instand rdier favourite of the 2026 series. Being a brand new track being build on private proiperty means we have plenty of freedom to create something incredible for this race!

Club Support:

The Samaria Mountain Bike Park will be helping us bring this event to life! With a booming junior cohort of amazing talent coming out of this club, there will be some local ledgends that will be tough to beat!

What to Expect

The Rookie Cup is an exciting, fun, welcoming downhill race series where up-and-coming riders get to experience a professionally run race weekend in a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere.

Race Entries for a Joyride Rookie Cup are $195 per round for the 2026 season.
The full event schedule and Rookie Cup season can be found on the Joyride Rookie Cup home page.
You MUST have a valid AusCycling Race licence to be able to enter an event. All other requirements (bike, gear etc) can be found in the Rules and Regulations on the Joyride Rookie Cup home page.
You are able to enter an event any time during the "Event Registration Window" which is a 2 week period where rego is open. This will be specified on the @joyride__racing instagram and facebook before each season starts.
No, as per Aus Cycling guidelines, we do not discount race entries in order to keep accessibility to racing financially fair. Although we do offer Early Bird entry for Joyride Club members 48 hours before the public, to allow our club members the first chance at getting into our races.
